During this project, my photo shoot went well and I did not have to go back retake my photos. However, putting all the photos and sorting them was a definite challenge. Next time, I will probably take more photos of a larger range and I will not take so many photos that overlap too much. In the process of creating, I just used the basics of Photoshop like the select tool and grouping layers. I can use these techniques in a career later in life or just to show people what I saw in one picture rather than 20 or more.

In my first photo shoot, I did well on darkening and contrasting the pictures to how I wanted them to look. I had difficulty in trying not to make the pictures not overdone and adding too much light, darkness, sharpness, etc. Next time, I might take some more interesting photos so that some of the pictures would not be so boring. I used levels, curves, burn, dodge, and the sharpen tool in my pictures. I can use these techniques in correcting my own photos (selfies, family photos, etc.).

During the creation of this project, cutting out all of my pictures worked quite well and so did duplicating each picture as well. The most challenging part of this project was trying to smudge/create motion and liquefying in my picture because sometimes I would smudge too much which would go into the other picture. This was a struggle. I used the smudge tool by clicking and holding on to where I wanted to create motion and then dragging it to the distance I wanted and then releasing. I also used the gradient tool. I created my own contrast colors to what I wanted. I can use these techniques I have learned from this project in other school projects for other classes and also use it to help make posters for covers of programs or anything. Overall, this is project taught me very useful skills to know in Photoshop.
